Three 7 Pound Walleyes in one Night!

    We fished from about 4pm til dark on Wednesday night and caught some nice eyes. Each of use in the boat caught a walleye weighing around 7 pounds. Two were 26 inches and one was a bit over 26. We also got a nice bass weighing in at 5 pounds. Also caught two other 22 inchers and three 18 inchers. A couple crappies and some little walleyes also. The fishing is unbelievable right now.

    Love the reports GooseBuster! Those fish are fantastic no matter where you catch them but they’re doubly impressive coming from Southern MN. Not that there aren’t big fish to be had, your pics prove it, but in my opinion 3 – 7 Lb walleyes from farm country are a bigger feat than 3 – 7 Lb walleyes from Mille Lacs.

    Keep the reports and pics coming. That first walleye pic is a dandy!

    We caught them all on 1/16th ounce jigs with different twisters and shads.

    Great fish and even more impressive is catching them on a 1/16th ounce jig.

    Great looking fish Keep that little jem a secret where ever it is. My hats off to ya. I’m lucky to get one 7 pounder a year from the South metro area.
