Hi… my name is Pete.
For as long as I can remember, outdoor recreation has been an important part of my life. Like many, my passion started at a young age. Whether it was shooting sparrows with my pellet gun, catching bullheads and creek chubs, or just spending time outside.
Growing up north of Hastings, MN there were plenty of fishing opportunities close to home. Many weekends were spent with Dad on the St Croix River or Pool -3 of the Mississippi catching fish and learning the basics. Not only did this teach me the true fundamentals of angling but sparked an addiction that’s now grown into a passion for the sport.
After High School, I attended college at UW-Stout in Menomonie Wisconsin. Fortunately, Menomonie had ample hunting and fishing opportunities that allowed me to spend more time than ever on the water and in the woods. I met many fantastic people that truly helped me not only as an angler, but as an outdoorsman as well. In the fall of 2009 I graduated from UW-Stout with a degree in I.T. Management. My time spent in Menomonie gave me an incredible appreciation for the town, community, and people that live there; four years of my life that I’ll never forget.
After graduation, I moved back home to MN where I’m currently working full time in the IT field. Moving forward I hope to grow my passion for the outdoors even further and take my fishing career to the next level by participating in more tournaments, seminars, promotional opportunities, guiding opportunities, and youth events. With the gracious support from family, friends, and my wife Kristie, I hope to not only meet these goals but exceed them as well.
