    Hey guys,
I am wondering if one of you Leech Lake muskie hunters would be willing to shed a little light on the “Reed” bite that should be coming up here fairly soon. I know that there are guys who get good fish out of the reeds from the end of august until the end of October BUT, when in your opinion is the best time and what area of the lake expierences the best “Reed” action. Finally “if you don’t tell I understand” what baits (#1spinners of course) have you found capable of fishing the reeds successfully?
    Thanks in Advance,

Was up at Leech from Friday (7/25) to Monday (7/28). Fished mostly cabbage, some rock, some reeds. Cabbage bite was best. We boated 6 legals: 3 41’s, and a 42, 44, 47. Best bite was on bucktails & spinnerbaits – black/orange, black/silver, black/white.

    Good luck!
