Don’t mind him. He’s still struggeling with the fact that the smallies in the picture were caught by Briank. I’ll shoot you a PM tommorow with a heads up on what to use on OT for eyes and a place to start with the pike in the area.
July 22, 2007 at 8:02 pm #592713As a general rule (general rule… not always full proof)… Use leaches in the spring/early summer and crawlers mid to late summer. Now, leaches can work late and crawlers can work early. Natural forage is always a great option as well… whether the lake contain shiners, suckers, chubs, etc. That should get you started.
