Planer boards

    For those of you that you use planer boards, do use mono or braided for line?

    I use it all. I use mono, fireline, and also troll leadcore behind boards. They all have produced fish, and in some cases the mono has worked better than the fireline and the bait will be running at the same depth, or vise versa. Its unexplainable but thats just what the fish want. Make sure if you use fireline to either put on a heavier tension clip or double wrap it

    Superline & Lead here. Got rid of the Mono, just a presonal preference if you ask me.
