I prefer three-way setups for the river although I do like to use bouncers on Lake Pepin. Pulling spinners downstream can be effective but is very tricky because the spinners tend to get tangled.
I also like spinners for the lake but use 3-ways for the river. I always pull upstream in the river.
Thanks, Bill

what is the reasoning for bottom bouncers in the lakr and 3 ways in the river?is it becasuse of the difference in availible weights?
