Devils Lake, ND…Where to stay and launch boat?

There are many boat ramps on Devils Lake. If you want to stay on the lake itself, Woodland Resort is a good bet or there are also quite a few good motels in Devils Lake itself which is close to many boat ramps. If you want to camp, Grahams Island State Park is a great choice. There’s also a casino on the lake with rooms and a boat ramp. No matter where you stay, there are several boat ramps fairly close to you.
What kind of place are you looking for?

Kevin , just got back from devils yesterday ( sunday ) stayed at woodlands new hotel suites and they’re very nice . There are many launches on the lake to get you close to fish. The lake is several feet lower than normal so beware . I hit a telephone pole or tree in 20 f.o.w. and am awaiting a quote on a new lower unit.

Best best on Devils Lake is to stay at a place off the lake and trailer to desired launch. With the wind out there, you don’t want your boat tied to a dock as most do not have protected harbors for their customers boats. Also being forced to boat through the wind is not recommended. Stay off lake, launch in area least affected by wind and have fun!

    Best walleye lake out there!

    Eric
