Had a great morning. Down to 23 here so it was brisk. The two hitlist bucks along with 3 young bucks were close. One of the 1.5 year olds came in perfect, the others hung back at 100 yards. I watched them bed 300 yards north of my stand. I’ll be back this afternoon.

Settled in to my favorite corner. An acre of clover, a strip of winter wheat and 4 acres of corn and beans. 5 hens feeding already and I am freezing! Going to break out the fleece tomorrow :, happy fall y’all

What an awesome night! Had one of the hit listers at 4 steps from my tree. Passed on a 26-28 yard shot as he was quarter and to me, never ended up with him in any more of my lanes played the patience game and he won tonight. Nice heavy 5×5 main with a split G2

Very good morning. 6 does/fawns and 2 small bucks. Lots of grunting and bleating going on? Had two small bucks sparring 10yrds away on video. Tonight i am going to try the horns lightly. Hopefully this little bit cooler weather gets them moving

Not action from the tree per se, but action from a lunch time hike in the south metro.

You think I won’t be there in the morning?? Oh, I will!!!
