I assume there are some here that custom paint hard baits or know someone that does. IM wondering if this Reflective Chrome color can be replicated?

Custom painted Crank Baits

I wish I had another half dozen of that bait. I buy baits from 3 painters and there isn’t a way to get that finish with paint. It has to be chrome dipped and so far most don’t hold up well.

I’ve had pretty good success finding chrome baits similar to the end color I want to replicate and simply repainting certain portions of the bait in order to accomplish the end result I’m looking for.
With that said, fleet farm did re-introduce this exclusive color earlier this summer!

September 27, 2021 at 3:22 pm #2063637Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I wish I hade a dozen shallow SR5 in this color. I did stock up with the regular ones. And have a couple from Fleet Farm. I have used these for quite a few years and I haven’t had any issues with the finish. Seems durable to me. I like it when they get all those teeth marks…you know there good ones.
