6 of us are headed to Gull Lake 12/26-12/29. Only two of us fish and the rest are gals and kids who might want to wet a line for just an hour. I don’t plan to focus on ice fishing, but if pop some holes near the resort, what should I expect? Panfish? Eyes? Pike? There looks to be a decent 10-25′ break running the shoreline in front of the resort.

    Thanks!

I wouldn’t expect much Dave. You really need to put in a lot more time and move more often to expect to catch fish regularly. Craguns is a really nice resort though, I went there in September and I’d definitely go back again. Come Sunday afternoon, we seemed like the only guests still there.

Perch during the day. I’ve not fished the south side but the bite window for walleye is often short and around sunset. Can’t say about panfish.
