CLEAR LAKE Wed Aug 4

Got a chance to get on the water with my wife. I started out by trolling shallow baits in 4 to 6 ft of water with 2 nice stripers on my first pass. I left the shallows and headed out to 9ft plus looking for the walleye. We ended up with two walleye 15 16 1/2 in two hours of trolling in to totally different area’s the only thing they had in common were both fish came out of 9 ft of water and both of these fish came on #7 fire tiger shad raps

I was up there recently and since my dad hates to troll we sat on the reefs. Did pretty well, to my surprise. 4 keepers in 4 hours, plus many smaller eyes and a few stripers. Keep those reports coming. I’m starting to believe in Clear Lake again. I think it’s coming off a down stretch and is back to how I remember it.
