He will be ok. It doesn’t list the beer and that can make it or break it. We could see it this post could be blocked for a couple of days to help Eelpout out.
no need to worry about the recipe, EPG is waiting on me to bring 4 of the ingredients that is not listed on this thread.
Now ya’all can go scramble trying to figure out what those four things are!

I am trying sir !! I hope I dont disappoint you when I tell ya that with the drought down here we havent seen a mudpuppy all summer so I will substituting it with fresh road killed octopus.
And no, I did not drive off road to kill the octopus, that dern thing just jumped out in front of me the other day on my way to work..

Thanks again for sharing this recipe Eelpoutguy! Tried it this weekend and man it was some of the best Chilly I have ever had. Also you werent kidding with all of the chopping.

I’m glad you like it and yes, quite a bit of chopping goes on there.
In the process of making the chili EPG posted. I’m using all venison and double the batch. But if I didn’t use venison, wow this would be spendy.

It does get a little spendy but its worth it. The Bacon gives it some great flavor and I added extra garlic to mine. It really is a great recipe
I sure could use me a bowl a dat, a Corona and a sleeve of saltiness bout now.
The results are noted on page 5 of the thread entitled “IDO Chili Cook-Off”. I tried to post the link but I don’t think it’s working.
