I have got 18 chickens that are good egg layers. Assorted variety. They are all very friendly my kids carry them around and treat them like pets. Looking to send them off to a new “Good” home. Anyone interested can have some or all for free. Girls dont want them to go but they want to get a puppy and told them we aint having both.

I lost the battle with my wife about chickens…but was able to delay it until Spring. She wanted them mid-summer but I told her not until this coming Spring so I could get a coop and run ready over Winter.

If you had them available in say March or April, I’d maybe take some.

They are laying chickens. They look big but I think their pretty meatless.

Yes, that’s correct, layers are generally not used for food. Broilers are the ones raised for food. Layers usually end up at a rendering plant as protein for dog food.

The demand for a sarcastic font gets stronger every day.
Sorry I think I am funny. I should have asked if they were heavy or laid maximum eggs in a day. I am sure you will be able to find them a good home.

No sarcastic Font needed for me. I got a chuckle out of your reply.

But are the any good at crossing the road? I prefer the athletic type of egg layers. I’m not interested in chickens that will cross a picket line though. Feathers you know
