Moore’s Bait & Tackle is holding another cat fish contest, Saturday June 9th. It will run between the hours of 7:00 pm to Sunday morning at 6:00 am. The entry cost is $10.00 per person, with 100% pay out for the two species, flatheads and channels. The boundries will be the same as last month, which on the MN river is from the trussel bridge in Carver down to the Mississippi. On the Mississippi it will be from Coon Rapids damn, down to the Hastings Damn.
The winners will be decided at 3:00 pm that sunday at moore’s, with a picture, along with measurements of length and girth. This as always is a CATCH & RELEASE contest, any fish harvested will be diqualified.
If interested in helping slow the wave on Dtro & Larry (we were able to keep them from a shut out last time) Stop in and register at Moores prior to closing that Saturday. We hope all contestants will be safe and adhere to all fishing and boating laws.

This contest is turning over a new leaf

Mr. Moore seems to think that the channel hold has been broken..

Bob, I shall be paying you a visit later today. Don’t tell the bullheads I am coming in.

The rookie team of Casey, Herzog and Pug look to surprise this month’s tough field.
