It is getting darker earlier each night and it has been cool the last few nights. I’ve got a favorable wind and Steve D is in big trouble of getting caught and passed. Good luck Catters and you too Brian.

Sometimes I feel like the fish have had lackjaw too long.
Then after a few more skunks I have to reconsiderAugust 18, 2012 at 6:39 pm #1093078Quote:

I hear that. I’m having a lull this year – caught some nice ones early, but July and August have been full of little cats and skunks. I’ve been through it before though – it’s not keeping me off the water!
August 20, 2012 at 12:22 pm #1093260Doug’s curse is still working. We got 7 on Friday. My net guy got a 34X22 and a couple 32 x 20s. I couldn’t break 28.
August 20, 2012 at 12:32 pm #1093262Well, better than nothing. We launched out of Blackdog/Lyndale on Saturday and my buddy got 5 small channels, and I got none, so YOUR curse is still working.
Maybe we need to agree to a cease fire here for both our benefit
August 20, 2012 at 1:04 pm #1093267That and I take the rods away from my net guy who would be solid in 3rd place had he entered the contest. I hereby remove my back at you curse from Doug the fiddler catcher.
It is an odd state of affairs when I consider channel cats to be shakers unless they are over 31.
