Not so chilly as you might think. The islands are surrounded by 70-degree plus water.

We were north of there about 3 hours on a flyin. Had to start a fire Wednesday night….low 50’s and rain in July felt awfully cold.

We were up camped on the Wolf Packs from Wednesday til yesterday.
Was a bit chilly Friday morning when I was on the reefs at 6am, lots of heavy dew on the boat every morning.
Water temps were 75 when we got there and 72 when we left. The NW winds on wednesday and thursday were kind of a pain where we were camped, got old quickly.
Lots of folks trying to fish the calm sides of islands.
We still did quite a bit of swimming at camp, and ran up to Kettle Falls one day and even boated all the way to the Vermillion Gorge on Crane on Saturday, was a beautiful day.
Fish were deeper on the reefs this trip, all the way out to 27-34′ with the cold front that came in Wednesday making them less than enthusiastic. Did manage a limit on Friday morning despite the cool temps. No big fish this trip, a 20″ was tops.
