Branson MO

    The woman and I are kicking the idea around of taking a long weekend trip to Branson MO. Her father was going to ytake her mother there but unfortunately mom passed so we want to get dad down there before his time expires.

    Anyone ever been there? I’ve got a few tips for shows to see but those are all 5:30 to 8pm. Anything else to do down there during the day? Fishing? Sight seeing (excluding hiking long distances)? Tours?

    Fly fishing for trout topped my list every morning.

    We toured the trout hatchery on Table Rock as well.

    been there or thru there twice a year, have a place in mountain home, AR. I have an old employee that lives there.
    my understanding,
    TableRock, great fishery , spots, large, small, crappie etc.
    Lake Taneycomo, big on trout fishing but has large spots and largemouth
    Bullshoals, bass etc. and they have had walleye tournaments there
    good shows and a great sporting clays course 12mi. north in Ozark, MO
    they are getting a lot of rain this week so lake levels change along with flows
    I know of a couple of guides on TR and Taneycomo if wanted
    my understanding currently eyes are running up to Taneycomo dam on bull shoals, catching some nice ones
