Was on Margaret last sunday while up for the weekend. Had the friend of a friend local report of doing well for crappies. I’ll have to ask him what he was on to because we didn’t come close to finding any.
My parents place is very close so I’ve fished here before. The advice was to be around where the houses are. Not finding anything besides tiny perch we left there quickly.
Spent some time looking for gills and sunnies on shoreline structure. Some was a scouting trip to eliminate areas and had some success in others. Very finicky bite and a flasher was a must. When we did find them we could trick a several into biting.
