Blackduck Perch bite

    I finally started my fall fishing trip and spent the morning on Blackduck, there is a good perch bite going on and I managed a limit of 8-11 inchers in about an hour on shinner minnows before the storm rolled in, tomorrow is off to Red lake

    When I was up there early this month, I was suprised at the average run of the perch.

    What were you seeing for waterfowl on your trip?
    No nice walleyes in the mix?

    Just got back from the trip, we hammered the perch again a few days later in hard bottom areas 10 ft or less. We caught alot of walleyes in the 10-12 inch range along with a few keepers. I saw a few flocks of ringbills and a party at our camp did real well opener on mainly mallard.
