Crew – February 20th at 6:30 PM, LaCrosse common council will hear from the public on a proposed NO WAKE zone from Taylor Island to south of the municiple landing under the big blue bridge… that would add at least 30 minutes to transit time running south or north during tournies… Please read the attachement (found in LaX Tribune Sunday) and plan to have your voices heard… unless of course you woudl like it to stick!

Do you have a mailing address for Comman Concil members for those of us that live out of town?

People dropping a line might mention that the economic impact studies on the E-50 (B.A.S.S. tourney with 50 participants)in Chippawa Falls came back and the Real dollor impact of that 50 man tournrment was about $1,500,000 (yes a million and a half) with the extended number at closer to $2,000,000.

You could do a lot to the river walk with that kind of money.
