Anybody use ZING to get the “brown” stain off the bottom or a Ranger (or other “equivalent” bass boat surface)? Or, what do you use? I’ve heard toilet cleaner (“The Works”) is great. Please share your best practices. Thanks.

I am worried it will “hurt” the finish.

Try RUST OUT. You can get it at your local Menards.
It come in a trigger spray bottle, white and orange.
I use it on my white Gellcoat and it works awesome!
That brown stain litterally melts away.
    Give it a try.

I just go to the car wash…pre soak…scrub with the brush and rinse…voila! I do that pretty often so I don’t get a build up.

Thanks guys, and the PMs were great, too.

I ended up staying away from chemicals and did it the old fashioned way… polishing/rubbing compound and a whole lot of elbow grease… whe glistens and is ready for the shed!

End of 2005 for this guy.
