Anyone here watching the new Shogun TV series?

I watched the 1st two episodes last night. So far I’m undecided if I’m going to like it or not. I hope the action / Fighting pick up more soon. I normally like this type of movies or series. Episodes 1 and 2 were both released yesterday. New episodes will be released each Tues. from this point on. I think there is 10 scheduled episodes in total. I believe it is available on both Hulu as well as FX. I’m Interested in hearing others thoughts.

I thought it was excellent. I don’t know how much direct action there will be, but it does seem to be more like a life and death chess match.

I cant remember if they boiled the guy alive in the original series, but they do in the book, and its pretty graphic in the book. So far it seems pretty good. It’s definitely a samurai soap opera but that’s cool.
