Am going to be heading up the first week in June for a day and was wondering what the bite is like.
It started a little slow but it’s picking up. I’ll be there on Sunday.
Fished Leech last week. Typical for this time of the year…jig and any minnow works in 6 to 8 feet. Fishing was best when the wind blows. Walker Bay temps were still pretty low (49) as of Wednesday…skipped that area.
Ran up to The Annex one day and left. The floatilla there was too crazy for me.
I fished last week tuesday-thursday. It was good fishing but not amazing. Annex produced a lot of fish but a lot of crowds also. We had good wind 1 day but didnt find much on the blown points and shorelines.
Last week was productive up at duck point and off of stony point. Fish I was catching were relating to rock structure in 8-12 feet of water depending on water temps and other conditions over the week.
Jig and minnow was productive as was pulling cranks at night.
