I have a nav165 with Yamaha 75 four-stroke and I get 36-38 mph by myself and 33-34 with a passenger, aluminum prop.
February 28, 2011 at 6:23 pm #942332i was thinking mine was running a little slow, i get @ 30-32 with just myself, low feul tank. i thought my etec could do better. i’m looking into an after market prop, motor position etc.
February 28, 2011 at 6:24 pm #942333I am right around 32-35 mph with Nav. 175 and F75 Yamaha & a 3-blade aluminum prop.
February 28, 2011 at 7:18 pm #942361You should be doing better than that with the E tech on back. My Yamaha has better top end spend than the E tech did but only by 1mph or so.
I have a old E tech prop in the garage still. It needs repair but other than that it should be good to go. If someone wants it let me know. There is some oil in there to.
February 28, 2011 at 10:37 pm #942414I get 32-34 mph out of my Yami F75. Stock prop. Still wishing they let a guy put a 90 on back!!
February 28, 2011 at 11:38 pm #942425i hear ya, boat is plenty capable. thought about buyin a 90 and puttin my 75 cowling on it
May 12, 2011 at 3:10 am #965458i may be wrong but…. i think the only difference between a 75 and 90 is a computer chip. may be fuel injected models only not for carb motors but i know some1 who did that and got major power boost but for a spendy price of about 1k. b something fun to find out~!
