Any 175 Nav. people with a 115 Yamaha on their boat? What pitch stainless props are you running?

When I had my 115 merc 4 stroke(essentially a yami) on the back of my boat(Navigator175CS), the best prop was mercury’s stainless in a 16 pitch. I was able to get to the top of the powerband with that prop and had a great holeshot as well. It was vented.

Powertech RAF 3 in a 17 pitch that is onw one of the best props out there for your setup.

We did lots of testing with that combo. We tested couple different 18 pictch props a both dropped lots of rpms. the 17 pitch powertech ran the best with rpms just above 6000.

Did you do any testing with a 175 Nav sport with a 150 e-tec on it? I’m currently running a 19 pitch viper stainless with max WOT RPM of around 5500. Curious if there is a better suited prop out there.

Are the powertech hard props to find?

I’m also looking for a SS prop for a Nav175 with 115 Yamaha. Currently 19P aluminum run 6100 RPM at 42 MPH. I contacted Powertech and they recommended a 4 blade prop part# YM90SCD4R17P, but I think I will eventually go with the one Propmann recommended.

NORD I think you can order the props from propman at http://www.brainerdprops.com How do you like you setup so far?

I love it. The 18 pitch is fine when I am by myself. Good hole shot and 41 mph. Two or three people is a different story out of the hole.
