    Anyone been in Sand Cut lately to check water temps for opener?

    havent been in the bay itself,but was trolling last weekend on sundaymorning,the average temp was 43 degrees,only had one rip pretty slow fishing.

    Was there yesterday. The water in Sand Cut was 49, Kakagon Slough was 53 and the bay itself was about 46. Water levels look about like they were last year and is a little murky yet. Wind is predicted to be northeast 10 – 20 on Saturday so it’ll be chilly out there. jdc

    Looks like small craft advisory for opener with strong NE winds, talked to Roger at Anglers All and his response was “waves will be ugly” so going elsewhere for opener. The big lake sure has its own weather.
