I bought a used AS 360 TM ULTREX I have an i pilot link terrova, and a gen 2 helix9 I will modify the mount so the trolling motor not being an ultrex is irrelevant. I have been trying to get answers from humminbird customer service on what cables I need and I just can’t get anywhere. I have so far that I need an ethernet cable and the 5 port switch, but when I ask where the 3 pin cable that comes out of the 360 goes I have gotten 2 different answers.

Isn’t this a power cable? I’m assuming I need power to spin the 360 inards?

according the hbird diagrams it shows power going to the 360 transducer. but 2 agents have said no. I sent a picture of the cable and one said it goes to the trolling motor, and another says the 360 doesn’t need power?

    thanks

The 360 needs a power connection to power the spinning transducer. The 3 pin is for power. The 8 pin is for the transducer and data.

Thanks Dave, do you know offhand what cable I would need to purchase to connect to the 360 to run to the battery?

Dave, I can’t find that part number anywhere. just to clarify this is a pic of the 2 cables coming out of my 360. the 3 pin is female and all power cables I see are also female. is this the same cable end you have? thanks

No, The pic i gave you is for the male portion of that cable that connects to the battery. I had to call half a dozen places a few years ago to find that part number. The cable was only available through humminbird.
