I think the bigger buck I’ve had camera for 3 years did not make it thru last winter or got taken out this last hunting season. I have not had him on camera this year. He was injured rather bad in his Left front leg several years ago but survived the winter and hunting season the prior year. Kind of a bummer, it was fun watching him grow from year to year.

Nice seeing some buck movement from you guys. Must be in Northern MN with those temps, a mild 30 deg morning here in Alex.

I have my Iowa Muzzy season starting this weekend, seeing 50 degree temps, not expecting much. Moved my PTO to the last week of the season. Hope we get some snow and sub zero temps. A buck did knock the antenna off my cell cam, so I know at least one is around as of Nov 30.

Shot a nice buck this morning on the last day of the season in Iowa. Put a bad shot on him, not sure if I hit brush or what. Guts hanging out, bedded up, crows started hanging out by him. Too antsy, snuck up to him upwind, busted him, put another shoot his direction at about 125 yds. Backed out until this afternoon. Usually pretty good about clean kills, no experience with this but definitely feel like a clown.

May as well throw the pic up, ended up finding Mr buck dead in his bed. Blew his liver out. Not my best work, but a good buzzer beater buck.

Yes, here are a couple pics within the last week. I’ve seen bucks hold onto their horns into April in years past though.

Lots of bucks still holding. It is still just the end of February. It just feels like they should all be down with how nice the weather has been. The last two weeks the shed count has started ramping up though.

Nice pile Hillhiker! You’re not far from a nice chandelier there!
Most all our bucks are still holding. First one that shed showed on camera on Tuesday morning.
