We have had various .22lr ammo in stock constantly for the past 6 weeks. Never quite know what brand or quantities there will be but I have kept a fairly steady supply. Prices are a bit inflated but definetely not gouging. Basically, I cant buy smart either. When I find a wholesaler with them I buy them as long as the price is somewhat in line. Right now the only stuff we have is Winchester 235 count boxes for $18.99

I did get a bunch of .22WMR if someone is looking for it. The stuff we got is the Winchester PDX1 round designed for Personal Defense.

If there is anything you are looking for please feel free to give us a call. As I have said before, we have dropped the price on every firearm we have and I promise you we can compete with the big guys on price and blow them away with the entire shopping experience. You will leave glad you stopped!

I just noticed you mentioned the assasin as well. They have been phased out of the line up by bowtech. We have several in stock and can get you an unbelievable price on them.

Make sure to check out the two new bowtechs. Carbon overdrive (same as knight except has binary overdrive cams), considerably faster. Also you owe to yourself to shoot the rpm 360, smooth and very fast. We have both in store if you are anywhere near us come on down and shoot them.

Jake that is correct. Easiest way is to just buy a complete jig. If you have trouble finding one and are anywhere near red Wing I can order one for you. I will have to look up a price on one. Let me know, Chris

You have got most of your bases covered. i would get some denatured alcohol to clean shafts with prior to fletching.

    As far as jigs:
I Dont think I would but anything other than Bitzenbergers. Not the cheapest although here in the shop we fletch literally 1000’s of arrows and have never had a problem. In fact I just replaced all of our jigs this summer, the ones we had prior we had been using for almost 7 years. Only reason we replaced them is we rebuilt our entire archery range and felt we were ready to start new. 7 years of glue on them had made them a little ugly. The old ones are still being used today just not for our customer arrows.

I would recommend fast set gel for your glue if you have not already made a decision on brand.

This is only my opinion and I dont have a lot of experience with other brands of jigs.

Great way to pass the winter.

We run a league on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights beginning the first week of January. We are looking to rebuild our leagues and need some more shooters. I have lowered the price to $50 for the 13 week season in order to attract as many shooters as I can. Please drop me a note if you would like more info. Chris Winchester

I would suppose you might be able to. The question is at what time are you “assisting in the taking”. I personally would not want to fight it in court.

We have been able to get a fair number of primers the last few weeks.

    Randy,
I have Varget in stock. Probably 5 – 1# Containers. Price hurts a bit $31.99. I also happen to have a lot of remington and CCI small and large rifle primers. Winchester primers seem to be a little harder to find.
I would prefer not to ship the powder but if you want to call and pay for it we will find a way to get it to you.

Are you looking for any other powders. I have many in stock. Send me a list of what you need and I will see what we can do.

Have you tried a powder called “exterminator”? I got some in recently and have been told it is great in small bore rifles. I have no experience with it and just looking for some feedback. Chris

Kooty, You just missed one. We had one in the store for a total of about 3 hours. I will let you know the next time one is on the way. By the way, IT WAS SWEET!

I second the infinite edge. We have several in stock and if you would like to shoot one come on down. Draw Length adjustment from 18″-30″ and draw weight from 5#-70#. They come as a package with sight, quiver and rest. Good deal for under $400.00

Savage rep was in today. He mentioned they were starting to ship (for real) this week. I do not know how far down the list our orders are but we have several on order. Hope to see one soon, Chris

Hi Guys, I just saw this post and thought I would chime in. We got a shipment of 9, 40 and 45 ammo in today. We are limiting sales to 2 boxes per person to make sure everyone who would like some can get some.

We also got several pounds of Varget and 4350 powder as well as some various primers. No small rifle though.

Kooty – I appreciate your concerns about the $21 a box 9mm ammo and truly wish it was not so. The 9mm Ammo I have is Blazer brass and has not been anywhere near $11 for a long time. I believe under normal conditions it was $15-$16. I promise you we are not gouging our prices. When I find some I can buy I do so as long as the price is somewhat reasonable because I get sick of not being able to provide our customers with ammo. I truly am making less at $21 per box than I did 6 months ago at $15.99.

Just what we needed was a reason to buy another rifle!!!
I do have both rifles and ammo on order. Savage claims the guns will arrive at the store in Late February.

There is another cartridge coming out called a .17 Hornet.
This will be a centerfire round with unbelievable statistics. Again, they are on order and I will let you know as soon as they show.

We are getting one or two in a week but they go very quickly. I know most shops are out or have raised the prices to ridiculous prices. We have not been increasing our prices on them as they come in. Just happy to move some product quickly. Of course, there are a lot of people looking for them and we have decided to not take any names on them and just sell them to the first customer who sees them. My suggestion to you is to hang in there and see what transpires. Besides the cost of the gun, the ammo is going to be a real problem for awhile. If you have got a good supply of .223 than go for it but if not I would wait or look into other options. Chris Winchester

    Thanks Kooty,
We do carry the axis in several calibers as well as the ruger American and remington 770. All three are great guns for budget minded shoppers. The Rugers are a little tough to get a hold of right now. I believe I have two .243 in stock right now. Thats it. For those looking for something more we have Tikkas, Howa (both snow camo and Black), Ruger Hawkeyes, and can get you just about anything else you want. Our normal price on Savage Axis is $329. Make sure to mention IDO and I will work with you as much as I can. I have two 22-250 without scopes in stock and 1 with scope. We stock a fulline of scopes as well. These will sell quite well for the next month and I will attempt to keep the shelves stocked. If you know you would like one and are driving a ways call me first and I will make sure I have one in stock.

Thanks for the discussion and oppoptunity to sell to you guys. I really appreciate the business.

Although we can not always compete with the big stores I try to buy smart and do our best to stay at or below their prices. I will admit on occasion their advertised price is far under my cost. #%&*#*^! I enjoy calling them on those occasions to see if they have one in stock. I would say 60% of the time they do not or have very few.

    Thanks, Chris Winchester

Yes, the website is down and we are in the middle of trying to get it rebuilt. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The sale does not directly include shotguns and rifles but come on in and we will be happy to take great care of you.
Some of those guns will be well under cost at 10% off.
