I have the 7 and its a good unit. I would recommend it over the 6 just for the size to see it.

I use the same as Joel; the deep model Special Mate box. I’d like to say it’s so big that you could never fill it, but we all know better than to make a comment like that:)…….

X2 on the special mate box. Its a big box in the boat but all of the sspoons are right there. I like it and the box fits no probelm in my little 18ft yarcraft.

No kidding, go buy a lottery ticket after that one.

Well I tried the lottery ticket and well……That wasn’t as fun as catching the northern this time:)

The water crested and is dropping pretty good. That is if we or north of us don’t receive anymore rain.

I’ve had Scotty’s, Ram, and a few others on my boats in the past.

With my new Skeeter, I bought the Folbe Advantage jrs.

Easily the strongest rod holder of all the ones I’ve owned.

    Folbe Advantage Jr

So what are the difference between the regulars and the advantage JRs? Would the JRs fit normal walleye trolling rods?

I have used the Folbe and I am getting them for my boat as well. I would recommend them and agree with Trumar.

    Thx for the responses
Think I might have to look at the Legend Tournament series
Not the $350 rods but the lower $ 200 series

Anybody have any experience with this level of the Legend Tournament series?

I have one of the Legend Tournament – Good sensitivity, but if its money that you don’t want to spend then there are other rods out there that might be better. PS I really like mine though but I don’t go cheap on my fishing equipment I guess.

Best picture I’ve taken of the beach in a long time! I’m surprised at how fast the waters dropping.

Parking in the back 40 should be open tomorrow or Saturday…unless Andrew starts talking smack again.
