There is a state park with access yes and there is access from town also. The good fishing happens in the coves. Fishing the open lake opens up your tip ups to snow machine traffic. They often run over them for fun! This is not your typical ice fishing lake. Does have giant perch pike and walleye. Thanks for trying to help. Have a safe ice season Nic.

Thanks Randy. Last trip was to Orlando. Had a pole but all I found to fish was a pond next to resort. One hybrid gill was all I found. Guess the ocean front would be different. Thanks for the idea. And thanks for the guide choices. I’ll be checking into them.

I fish all over and live in VA. So I figured somebody on here might be able to help. The lake locals are tight lipped. They want those 16″ perch to themselves. Still open to any help.
