I’m pretty sure he is against the transporting them offsite contests…not money contests specifically.

All boats must be equipped with either a livewell or container that holds at least 25 gallons
    of water (aerated preferred).

    Aerated preferred? how about mandatory!

Fish MAY be culled, but any Flathead over 36” in length and any Channel over 30” must be
brought back and registered immediately after being caught. If the fish is less than the minimum
register length but appears to be in bad shape, please consider releasing it or bringing it back
immediately to register it. Anglers should use their best judgment and keep the safety of the fish
    as their top priority.

fish are transported to the launch to be measured and carried from the boat to the measuring station…

So is that your only gripe? non-mandatory aerators? Am I missing something else?

They sell really nice boat vinyl. I’d definitely change that out before you go catfishing.

So someone who is against the current money contests is having a money contest? HA! That is funny right there!

What I don’t like about most of the Sea Arks is their weight. If you look at some of them, the weight is 1400 pounds. What good is it to have a tunnel hull if when you beach the boat you have absolutely no chance of getting it unstuck by yourself? Or… if you can run it in 6 inches of water but can’t stop there because it drafts 10 inches?

Guess I got lucky then…my tunnel hull 18′ only weighs 600lbs. SeaArk Tunnel 1872

There was a gentleman with the right idea last year or the year before. Where everything could be hosed down and a large removable cutting board off the side for cut baits. Easy trailering, and just the right size for the smaller rivers. If one needed to do pool 3 or 4 for instance I would just call BK if his boat didn’t stink of walleyes.

This one got me sold on my SeaArk. RB’s Boat

all the new guys in my boat get rigged with circle hooks and a tight lined bullhead until they get the hang of it. Love them for that and channels. Otherwise Sickle hooks and Gammi Octo’s for flatties.

Never had a foul hooked fish with a circle hook. I’d say your case is quite rare.

I gotta bump this one just because that is one sweet river ride. Its huge! I’ve been day dreaming of an 1872 for a little while now…the wide platform is really appealing to me!

I won’t hold the white against you. If you don’t hold the Rod tangle against me from the shore trip this last summer.
