I currently purchase a 2017 1650 fish hawk, looking to put a kicker on it. I’m not getting good info back. some say the boat is to small to put a kicker on it. other than that I love the boat.

I have a 1650 fish hawk and im in your same position. I want to put a 9.9 on it. I was told would the splash line will be to low, due to the weight. I’m curious to know what you decided and how it worked out.

Thanks these are all great suggestions. I’ll check the weight limit. I have a 90 hp Merc, It’s the largest motor required for my boat. My transom is 23″. It I put a kicker on, the 25″ long shaft is recommended.
