Say what you want about a lot of the fishing YouTube guys, they’re not for everybody, but they are for sure getting a lot of young kids excited about fishing.

Uncut has some great content. Crazy to see how much the fishing industry has blown up on YouTube. In my opinion YouTube content creators like Jon B, Uncut, Lunkers TV etc, are one of the biggest driving factors for a lot of kids to get into fishing.

Kudos to DH for stepping up like that, very rare thing to see now a days it seems, especially in a platform like this. I own a handful of DH rods and have nothing but praise for them, I’ve yet to find a noodle rod with the balance between sensitivity and back bone that his do. Not to mention you can’t beat his prices.

I run a dock and lift install crew and can’t really picture that being a very effective system. Center pivot wheel set ups like that are a real pain, and I highly doubt that will be able to break a lift free from a mucky bottom. But I have been wrong before!

I used to work for Scheels and I have nothing but good to day about them. They’re a great company that really cares about their customers and employee’s, and they really value educating their employees on the products they sell.

I have a 2012 F150 with the Ecoboost. Been very happy with it, pulls very nice and rides like a Cadillac!

Do you have a separate starting battery from your trolling motor battery? Run the Bird power wires on your starting battery if you do. Your trolling motor will cause interference on your depth finder. Do some searches online on how to splice a ring terminal onto your positive and negative wires and run them directly to the battery or a gang block if your boat has one. Make sure you have the positive wire fused somehow.

You will be happy with either one really, they’re both quality motors and both will really change the way you fish. Just today I anchored over a school of sunfish and I was able to use the jog function to stay right on top of the school as they moved around a mid lake hump. My nephew approved the Motorguide!

I use the Core system from Sitka and haven’t looked back. They also offer a merino line that is top of the line.

Having used both, when time came to upgrade I went with the Xi5. Much less drifting in anchor mode, and the jog feature is priceless. Only advantage to the iPilot system was the remote display but it appears they’re addressing that issue.

Absolutely. Always have great service and information at everts. Can’t say enough good things about them.
