Take a Kid With You

Sean I’m looking at going up in mid Feb. with my five year old son and father-in -law was wondering if you could give me a couple of places that have sleeper houses that would work for us . Any help would be great thanks.

Harry either one would be fine. Are we being portables with us to do some running? I just heard that Mac’s is pulling there houses out today. I would think rock at evening and mud during the day. Let me know. Sifty

We tryed big birch on sat. night and caught a few walleyes the fish seemed a little turned off by all the weather had it all but snow. thanks again for the info and take a kid with you

I read in the Star Tribue that the DNR had figured 9,000 lbs of hooked mortality is this really possibly? That sure would seem like a lot of fish with the cold water and all. On the trips we have made so far this year out of about 110 fish the have been 2 that have been under the slot. This really makes a guy think that we are taking the same fish year in and year out. Good luck and take a kid fishing.
