Try going to muskyshop.com (Rollie&Helens). Click on crankbaits, then click on the bait for discription. I think it’s 50% off internet orders if you buy.

Definitely NOT 50% off at R&H! I think they offer 5% off on internet orders though, so probably just a typo. I would check out Musky Tackle Online though. Normal prices are much better there than 5% off at R & H, plus you can get free shipping at MTO.

Fishing Bone during the week is a very good suggestion. I haven’t fished the lake in a number of years. But seeing fish was never a problem. And they can literally be everywhere. If it looks good, fish it. If it doesn’t look good, there’s probably fish there too. At least that’s what it was like when I used to fish it 10+ years ago.

Alright, I’ll brag….I was out on the north end on Saturday and I caught a giant skunk! I had a decent pike hit near the boat and that was about the extent of my action. I had exactly zero musky sightings.

Nice report Hollywood! How was the size on the bass you were getting?

I’ve never fished Mille Lacs on the musky opener. But Mille Lacs isn’t known as a great early season lake. So I can’t imagine it would be any busier than a typical weekend in July or August.
