This is a discontinued rod. I’ll love to get 4 more if possible.

Not looking for the split grip thanks though pat.

Just looked up the sct. Didn’t know what it was. Looks like they don’t offer the 2-8oz (i.e. HEAVY) action.

I’m simply trying to get 5 – 6 identical combos of my favorite sturgeon rod after years of running a multitude of musky gear looking for the right one.

Striking out so far unfortunately in my fav rod for this job

Right on! I will say, I like the SCT better than the EVX for musky applications, but I could see where the EVX would be a great sturgeon rod.

I know the last time I was at Thorne Bros they had some EVX rods left, but I cant remember the sizes and action of them.

Check with Thorne Bros if you haven’t already. They carry okuma. If Phil has one I’ll be in that area this weekend could grab it for ya.
