I am pretty sure this is a young wolf, what’s your thoughts?

I think its a young wolf too. The ears are pretty wide set compared to coyote IMO.

Any other pictures or angles? What area of the state was this picture captured?
If I could see the snout from the side, I’d be able to help you out more. Based off that picture it’s hard to say.

The eyes look to be those of a coyote. The current size/stature favors that of a coyote. It could be a young wolf, but I’ll guess coyote.

I would say wolf because of the ears and look at the size of those paws. Don’t yotes have more pointed ears?

Hmmmm. Long legs. Broad head. Rounded ear tips. Big feet. Looks like a slightly larger version of the wolf puppies I had all over my cams in June.

Have a lot of pics and videos of wolves. Looking at the front legs, they are thick and long. Combine that with paw size and the head, I’d saw young wolf. Paws are way to big for a coyote and it’s stance on the front legs and paws set out vs in or straight isn’t indicative of of a coyotes stance.

It looks to be eating well. All the coyotes in my neck of the woods look much thinner and have a flatter coat.

    Definitely a green sunfish…or a hybrid.

It’s clearly a domesticated wolf dog out for a stroll.
