Heath Benike – New DNR Biologist

    Heath will be presenting at the Chippewa Rod and Gun Club meeting this week. The February Meeting will be held
    on Thursday February 10th 2011 at 7:00 in
    the club house.

    Here is the excerpt from the newsletter.

    I have confirmed that Heath Benike
    plans to visit us for the February
    meeting. Plan on attending so you can
    hear his views of the state of the fishery
    in our area and the DNRs plans to
    improve it. Heath is the “new” Biologist
    who has filled the hole that Joe Kurz’s
    retirement caused. Heath comes from the
    Barron region where he was the biologist
    for the last 8 years. Make plans to come
    and welcome Heath to the Chippewa
    Area and hear what interesting things he
    has planned.

    Not only that he’s coming to the meeting but that the WI DNR is filling the opening.
