I have reports that the lake is very very green with algae. This is very early, paint creek is so thick a friend from work was canoeing back there and he said there was mold growing ontop of the algae mat, he could barely get his paddle through this crap, this is actually pretty sad for me, I am very allergic to this stuff. If I would fish this water I get sick even though I don’t touch the water, the green stuff gets on my hands, I rub my eyes and then they coat over, if I was to swim in the green stuff I would be sick for 1-2 weeks. Nasty- anyways enough whining from me, this isnt a fishing report, more of a green junk report…

Main lake was pretty clear last weekend but I suppose with the warm weather, things can change fast.
I will have to check it out tomorrow when JimmyKroe and myself head down for a little walleye pre-fishing. It will be nice to get away from the mayfly and sheepies for a few days!
