Has anyone been to store recently with any 12 ga trap loads available? My son is shooting on the trap team and I need to find some more boxes to get him through the season. He’s burning through my stash quickly!

Wow. I just did some looking online and cant find any. That is unbelievable for trap rounds. The trap/skeet leagues are going to have problems this year.
The team doesn’t provide the shells as part of the program?
We provide the shells for our team and youth league as part of the participation fee, and get preference when Federal makes a production run. As far as retail outlets, good luck, as ammo of all sorts seems to be very very scarce.
Just picked up a new Franchi 20 gauge yesterday, but for a while here I think it will just be a really expensive baseball bat until the loads I want for the fall come in stock….
Not sure of your location but Midwest Shooters Supply in Lomira Wisconsin usually has trap loads. Call and see if they ship.
I hope this doesnt ruin it too much but you can order target shells right off of federals website right now. $11 a box and probably a couple weeks tell you get it but still available.
Various fleet farms have been getting more variety in lately. Not 100% sure about trap loads but it’s worth a try
Have to be diligent watching Fleet Farm and Walmart. Saturday nights at FF they sometimes stock up for the Sunday crowd
check on SportsMan’s Guide, looks like the have 71/2, 8, and 9 shot if that will work for him.
Fleet farm in st cloud has 20 boxes of light target Remington 8 shot on the shelf
We are currently approx 150 cases short for our high school team. We got 102 cases in but need approx 255 cases total based on 5 cases per student. Our season looks like it will be cut short because of it unless something changes.

haha, that might be fun but would get spendy
I’d call around to a few of the gun clubs. I got my 10 cases of Fiocchi through a group buy at our range a few months ago. Took 5 weeks to get the order in.
