We were up setting up cameras on the deer lease and found these in the pine woods. I have never seen these before. Fungi? Fern? Alien life form? Breakfast?

Not 100%, but I think they’re ferns. I’m sure they’d make a good breakfast salad….

August 16, 2020 at 9:32 pm #1965678Saw someone on a Facebook group post pictures of one a few weeks back as well. It was their first time seeing them also. May be something about the weather this year that is making them pop.
