    Is this a turkey out and about at 8:49 pm? Look at what looks like the tail. It almost looks like a peacock.

    On a serious note, I can’t confirm it is a turkey from your photo but I can say I have had turkeys in my yard until 9:30 pm or even later, several nights this week. So it definitely could be a turkey at 8:49.

    If it was a Peafowl, it would be a Peahen. The tail isn’t long enough for a Peacock. My guess goes Turkey. Or Snook.

    Kinda looks like someone getting caught dropping the turkey on the ground on the way to the smoker. Maybe my head is in cooking mode but it looks like a dressed out bird what looks like the tail is dust from the bird skipping along the ground.
