Saturday was great….wish we had more guys!

Sunday we brought more guys…..and of course it sucked….only got three. They acted like normal un-responsive Rochester geese. Didn’t take em long to re-learn!

Flight patterns were weird and inconsistent. Lotta birds still around though. They were feeding a long ways out yesterday.

I’ve gotta good feeling about Thursday morning……

On a related topic….a buddy of mine had his decoys stolen out of a field out towards Byron Saturday night. They were brand new G&H full bodies with motion stakes.

Farmer saw a Red Truck and a White Truck with a Wooden trailer drive right out and grab them….he didn’t question it, because they acted like they owned them.

Anybody hear’s anything let me know!

That sucks. I’ll keep my eyes and ears open for sure. Stupid people talk. About how many dozen did they get? Any markings on the decoys at all?

Ditto on the eyes and ears, that is the worst thing in the waterfowling world right there. We hunt the west side alot, I guess we should be more careful as well.

Well Sat was good we shot 10 for 5, sunday was just bad; bad wind, bad birds, we shot 5 for 7. Monday the birds were a little more workable and we shot 10 for 5 again. On a good note we have been landing most of the birds we are shooting at, so thats a good and fun part of the hunt. But a buddy followed some birds out and saw that they were landing in standing corn, I guess the snow is so deep that its an easy land for them.

Christmas eve day was a cake walk on the North side for us. Two flocks and a single feet down and we had our 6.

    Merry Christmas all!
