Wondering if anyone is running a Warrior 1890bt with a 90 hp 4 stroke motor? If so, would like to know how the performance is?
I am debating on repowering mine.
Thank you.

IMHO an 1890 is a bit heavy for the 90. Mine runs a 115 Yammi and while adequate, it’s no fireball. Maybe give a 2 stroke some serious consideration if you’re totally set on the 90. jerr
go to the power steering thread in this Warrior boat section, there is some discussion and a video on the 90HP motors there.
My dad runs a 90 on his 2015 1890, runs ok with one or two people but really dogs if you got a 3 or 4 people. If you are doing any tournaments or really long runs you are going to want more power then the 90. Its a heavy SOB and probably tops out at 33-34 MPH with a merc command thrust on it.
I thought the coast guard mandated Warrior on put a max of 90 hp on this boat? I recall hearing that a change was made a year or two ago.
