You mean like a 190 Sea Runner? http://www.hewescraft.com/products/sea-runner/
Or an older hull, like a Starcraft 191 Islander? https://www.lakeerieunited.com/walleye/topic/1014-1995-starcraft-islander/

Has Alumacraft ever even made such a boat? Steerable from inside the cabin?
You’re going to have to look at the west coast boats like Hewescraft, North River, etc.
The Islander was not steerable from inside, the wheel was in the cockpit aft of the cabin. You could have full canvas, of course, but the wheel wasn’t in the cabin.

Actually, I’d consider anything from 16ft. to 29ft. as long as it’s steerable from the inside, under the hardtop. One can’t be too fussy. Not many such boats on the used market. the 190 Sea Runner is great. The Islander isn’t because one must steer under a tarp. However, I think I’ve seen Starcrafts that are steerable under a hardtop. Thanks to all for the replies.

Craigslist in Great Lakes ports and river citys will also have lots of larger hard tops coming as WX warms.
I think you will find most hard tops will have I/0 or IB engines unless you get into the Hewes and Kingfisher like aluminum lines.
