Made it out Thursday morning on 16 and had a 20″ in the boat in the first five minutes. Unfortunately it did not pick up after that. We were out from about 7 AM to 2 and only managed a 20, 18, and a 15 and I didn’t get one of them, all my buddys. Although the flatheads and drum kept us busy in between fish. Jig and crawler landed two and a wally diver got the other.
Although I took the kids out Friday for some bluegill fishing in Sunset for a couple hours and the 4 year old pulled two short walleye in about four feet of water. Hoping to get out Sunday and hopefully I can make it up to 14 where I always seem to do better.
