Pepin City

I was thinking of giving this area a try early am tomorrow. Has anyone been doing any good from Pepin City area south.Last time out only

managed 1 eye and that was across the lake by the rip rap along railrod

tracks. Will probably try trolling then other methods.Any help would be

appreciated.

Come on all you river rats.I know your out there.Anyone fishing around Pepin City

north or south that has any advice.Still thinking of trying this area early am if the

thunderstorms arn’t cracking.Or any one fishing from Lake City south in the last day

or two.Who’s all gonna be on the water tomorrow that way I know how many Leinies to carry. That should get a response!

Lake City south is wing dam country and managed about a dozen goggles Wednesday between 16 and 22 inches. No bites after 6pm and jig/crawler had the advantage, although cranks were catching fish. I hear the lake is slow so I’d get into the river. Also heard the north side had better bite but smaller fish. Good luck!
