Fished from 3 to 7 or so. Only 3 walleyes, 3 cats (one on a shap rap-go figure), 1 nice 3/4lb crappie and tons of Drum. Cranked for the first hour and then jigged the dam. My brother was with my father and I, he doesnt fish much so when he was having fun catching drum at the dam we were reluctant to change things.
If I were to focus on walleyes I think that cranking downstream of the dam to the MN is the way to go. As far as I could see, the fish seemed spread out and covering lots of ground should be better than jigging. My two cents anyway.
