How long of a dropper do you use and about how much weight? and one more thing how long of a leader is used?

I did very well on three ways 11/22. Firetiger original rapala on about 3.5′ leader w/ 12″ dropper to a 1.5 oz weight. I like the shorter drop for the river – I think most fish are tight to the bottom. I could have gone w/ a heavier weight but the action was steady and I could detect the bottom. Funny, all fish came while troling up river. Also did well with jig and small – medium suckers. Most fish were 16-18″ walleye w/ one 20″ sauger and bonus 17″ smallie
